U.S. car sales fell to three-month low in January

car-dealerNEW YORK (MarketWatch) — U.S. car sales slipped to a three-month low in January, to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 15.24 million from 15.4 million in December, according to the latest tabulations from Autodata. Economists polled by MarketWatch had expected a 15.8 million rate. The declines came on the import side, as domestic truck sales actually improved on the month. (Link)
